​A letter from our president:

"Growing up I was surrounded by teammates who became my best friends and when I came to school I felt a bit lost. I was 1500 miles from home and didn’t know anyone near by. I went through recruitment because I love meeting people and I figured, 'what’s the worst that could happen.'

When I spoke to the girls in Alpha Chi, I just felt comfortable. It felt easy and it didn’t feel like I needed to put on a show or act a certain way. They genuinely cared about the things I had to say and every time I left the room, it was with a smile. Now, I can say that I have met some of my greatest friends and the sweetest girls I could imagine. I used to be scared to show up to things alone but now I know that any AXO event I show up to, I can talk to anyone and have a blast. These girls have pushed me to be more open and more courageous. I never would have imagined running for President two years ago and the only reason I could was because of the constant love and support from these real, strong women!"
